Clinton decides on cigar tactic
Senator Hillary Clinton has left supporters dumbfounded with the revelation of her latest campaign tactic in an attempt to catch up with Barak Obama will be the use of a cigar.
In the face of flaccid results in the most recent polls, Clinton has decided to use cigars to provide a new angle in an attempt to impress voters.
“Cigars and the name Clinton are synonymous so she has decided to leverage off Bill’s past and attempt to insert her authority on the rest of the Presidential campaign,” said a Clinton camp insider.
“I’ve never seen anyone look so tired and keep going, honestly, she is like a wild-eyed robot at the moment - it’s pretty scary.”
There are no confirmations that the tactic has been inserted into the campaign by new campaign manager, Maggie Williams.
It is rumored that Clinton is wanting to woo the ‘alternative’ voting population and this may be the basis for the new campaign weapon.It has not been revealed which brand of cigar will be used in the tactic, but a number of manufacturers are said to be wanting to help Clinton firm up her prospects.
Mr Cigar from Hav-A-Tampa in California said he would be pleased to see his cigars used to stick it up Obama.
“Cigars are great for opening up all sorts of possibilities,” he said.
“The number of deep and meaningfuls that are had while enjoying a cigar can be quite important - after all cigars are the tool of the rich and influential.”
It is unclear how Clinton will incorporate cigars into her daily campaign, but analysts suggest it will need to be a tight fit if voters are not to be fooled by the ploy and see it as some loose attempt and plunge her campaign into the dark depths of failure.
